Private test version. This notice describes the current test website. Before public launch, the club must confirm its postal contact address, provider arrangements, processing locations and retention arrangements. It will also be updated for any move to Infomaniak.
1. Who is responsible?
Celtic Supporters Club Switzerland is responsible for the personal data it processes through this website. Contact: info@celticfc.ch. See our Impressum for operator details. We handle personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and applicable implementing provisions.
2. Visiting the website
The hosting infrastructure receives technical request data such as your IP address, request time, requested resource, browser information and error information to deliver the website and protect it against misuse. The present test version runs through ChatGPT Sites with OpenAI and Cloudflare infrastructure. It is not yet hosted at Infomaniak. The site owner has not enabled an advertising or audience analytics service in the website code.
3. Contact and membership enquiries
When you contact the club by email, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address and enquiry. We use it to reply and, where requested, to handle club membership, events or merchandise enquiries. A mail link opens your own email application. This website does not currently provide online payments or an automated newsletter mailing subscription.
4. Club news and photographs
We publish club news, newsletter documents and photographs of club activities. Contact us if you have a question about information or an image relating to you, or wish to object to its publication. We assess requests in light of the applicable rights and circumstances.
5. Sign-in and administration
The private test site and administration use ChatGPT sign-in. The site receives a verified account identifier and email address for access control. CMS drafts, published content, previous versions and uploaded media are stored in the hosting infrastructure. Administration is restricted to the authorised club account.
6. Cookies and similar storage
Hosting and authentication may use essential cookies for access and security. Our own website stores your cookie preference in browser local storage under cscs-privacy-v1, with a validity of 180 days. The choice is checked again after that period; you can remove it earlier through your browser settings. We do not use our own advertising cookies or analytics trackers. Optional embedded media remain blocked until you choose to allow them. Necessary-only and allow-external-media choices are available in the banner.
7. Social links and external media
Facebook, Instagram and X/Twitter are ordinary links, not embedded social feeds. Clicking a link takes you to the provider’s website, where its privacy terms apply. If you permit embedded media, the relevant provider receives connection information, including your IP address, and may use its own cookies. You may withdraw permission using the settings button above; previously loaded embedded content is removed. Your choice does not delete cookies already set by an external provider.
8. Recipients and international processing
Authorised club administrators and the technical providers needed to operate this test site process data for the purposes described here. Hosting, authentication or an external service can involve processing outside Switzerland, including in the United States. The club must confirm the applicable locations and transfer safeguards with its providers before the public launch. We do not sell personal data.
9. Retention and security
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle the matter and any applicable legal obligations. Published club history is retained as an archive; corrections and removal requests can be sent to us. CMS revisions remain until the club removes them. Provider logs and authentication records follow the providers’ retention arrangements, which must be confirmed for the public launch. Access restrictions, encrypted connections and versioned content help protect the information, but no system is entirely risk-free.
10. Your rights
Under applicable law you may request information about your personal data and ask for correction or deletion, object to processing, withdraw consent where relevant, and request delivery or transfer of data where the legal conditions are met. Contact info@celticfc.ch; we may need to verify your identity. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
11. Changes
We will update this notice when the website’s functions, hosting or processing arrangements change. Last updated: 22 October 2026.
